Our second test site in Commerce City, CO provided data on Eco Block™ performance during later phases of residential construction when lots were paved and runoff patterns more defined. Monitoring extended for roughly four months, focusing on durability under regular vehicle traffic and rainfall events. Data collected included maintenance frequency, reset needs, and compliance observations. This allowed for direct comparison of maintenance effort relative to disposable sediment controls.
137 reused blocks (~548 ft) from Site 1 were installed. After 2.5 months, only one block (<1%) was unusable, proving strong reusability and long-term performance.

Traditional measures were 1.1x more non-compliant. Only one Eco Block™ required replacement, while traditional controls typically needed complete replacement.

Traditional controls had 2.1x higher maintenance costs than Hercules Eco Block™, confirming measurable cost savings through reuse and durability.
