This project in Commerce City, CO served as one of the initial vertical residential test locations to evaluate Hercules Eco Block™ performance under active grading and utility installation conditions. The site was monitored for 3.5 months to assess how reusable controls withstand repeated disturbance from heavy equipment. Field teams documented installation time, maintenance frequency, and any replacements needed compared to traditional controls such as silt fence and heavy-weight wattle.
140 units (~560 ft) of Hercules Eco Block™ were installed. After 3.5 months, only three blocks (2%) were damaged beyond use, showing high durability with minimal replacement needs compared to traditional measures.

Traditional controls were non-compliant 3x more often than Hercules Eco Block™. Non-compliance for Eco Block™ typically meant simple repositioning, while silt fence or wattle often required full replacement.

Maintenance costs for traditional controls were approximately 3.5x higher than those for Hercules Eco Block™, reflecting reduced labor and replacement frequency
